Overview

Lenovo has done a good job in creating their mission and has scored 3.2 points out of 4.5. The company only missed to mention who are company’s customers and didn’t include any of the values used in our evaluation, but provided them separately:

“Our values serve as the foundation of our company and define who we are and how we work. Principal among them are:

  • Serving Customers
  • Trust and Integrity
  • Teamwork Across Cultures
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurial Spirit”

These values indicate what guides Lenovo actions and decisions. The company mentions 2 values: integrity and teamwork that are also used in our evaluation. The statement is customer-oriented, meaning that the company is focused on providing solutions for customers rather than focused on producing and selling certain products. In overall, Lenovo’s mission is a well-crafted statement that answers the question of what is the core purpose of the company.
